What to Expect
The process of a home inspection requires a great deal of concentration. You may be tempted to show an inspector areas of concern and we fully encourage that. We do have a recommended sequence of events for each inspection.
The normal amount of time to conduct a thorough inspection may take about three hours (see list below). Upon completion of the inspection, we like to discuss the areas of immediate concern that we see with the client. After which, if you have a question about something else, we will be happy to discuss it more in depth.
During the inspection, we will take numerous digital photographs to use when creating your report. The report will be in the sequence you see below and it will be available for you within 24 hours of completing the inspection. If you want us to share the report with anyone else, such as your realtor, we will need permission from you to do so.
